Beautifully renovated, impeccably maintained!! The Cadillac of Property Management in Portland...hands down!!! I have lived in a KBC Property for almost 2 years now. Beautifully renovated, impeccably maintained. Quick to jump on repair request. Care greatly about their tenants and the product that they offer. Even the laundry rooms are nice! Yes, the rents may be a little higher than the competition but worth every penny!! Not sure where these complainers live because word on the street about KBC is nothing but FABULOUS!!
Not So Great The hallways in my building stink like death or marijuana -- or both. Lots of cracked window panes. A depressing place really. Does NOT live up to the hype. And NO -- I am not a disgruntled tenant (currently live here for convenience sake and am a model tenant). Look elsewhere -- lots of other options in Portland.
Terrible, Terrible Company This is a terrible company. I lived in one of their buildings for three years. In that time we had six different building managers. All of them were hard working and terrific, but couldn't stand managing because the owner and upper management are so cancerous. Also, the building I lived in is moldy. At least half of the apartments had serious mold issues because the steam heat had been replaced with electric wall heaters, which were also expensive to operate. Kbc Management has crappy upper management! I rented from KBC and was thoroughly disappointed! The management was terrible. I liked my apartment managers but we had a huge turnover of managers the year and a half I lived there and all of them reported the same distaste for how the owner and upper management handled problems.
THUMBS WAY WAY DOWN!!!!!!! Their buildings are awful! Everything is always breaking. They are extremely rude and have no desire to please their tenants. Do Not rent from them. They seem like great people, very friendly at first. But once you move in they will not bother to fix anything. They charge way to much for the service. The elevator is broken four out of seven days a week. There is a handicap man in our building and he was actually crying because he couldn't get upstairs safely.
