Honestly, I was really surprised by the way customers are treated at this location. When I walked in, the bar chairs were set way too close together, which is very different from other locations. The AC also wasn’t working properly, and with so many people in one area, it felt uncomfortable to breathe the same warm air. The sun was hitting directly on my back, so I changed my seat, and the response I received was unnecessarily rude. I have been to other KazuNori locations, but this was my first time at the MDR one and being that I live walking distance from this location I was really excited to try this new spot. The location is hard to beat, it’s right by the water and the anchorage where all the boats are docked. The shopping center is in between the water and Admiralty Way which is the main street in MDR. I stumbled upon this place while walking to trader Joe's from my hotel nearby and am so glad I did. The rolls were absolutely amazing. Loved the atmosphere, very dark and atmospheric, simple and cosy. The staff were lovely and welcoming (I was a lone diner, often intimidating), I enjoyed watching the chef make the rolls, and every bite was delicious. Highly recommend
