Amazing OB. This was my 2nd c-section and I had an awful experience with my first child and I can honestly say that my surgery went so smooth and wonderful that if I hadn’t got my tubes removed and had a baby I would choose Dr. VanDommelen again. She is always so kind and helpful and made me feel safe and comfortable everytime I saw her during my pregnancy. She delivered my daughter and did an amazing job doing so. Dr. VanDommelen was kind and informative during my appointment; however, I was very surprised by what happened with billing. During a brief 10-minute consultation, I asked an unrelated question and was later charged an additional $221 without any prior notice. Had I been informed that asking a question would result in such a significant charge, I would not have asked it. In my opinion, this lack of transparency is concerning and feels unethical. Because of this experience, I do not plan to return.
My Dr. retired so Kaylee was new for me. LOVED HER!!! She was very thoughtful and listened to my concerns!
Dr. Vandommelen explained everything clearly and has a wonderful bedside manner. Thank you!
