There is absolutely nothing I can say that I like about this Dr. she was disrespectful to my wife and her wishes, claimed that it was impossible for her to be allergic to a medication that TWO other doctors agreed she was allergic to, and was very unprofessional in her notes that my wife read on the app.
Don’t do it. I have been a patient since 2023 and I have seen an enormous decline in my quality of care. So much decline that I am no longer a patient. Dr. Shepherd has totally disregarded the oath she took. Which is honestly very sad that she doesn’t care about the impact she has on a person. She would not listen to me when I tried to ask about being referred to a specialist. She stopped returning messages via the portal. At one appointment she actually said she had to leave at 3PM. Mom had appointment today with Dr. Shepherd due to a very hard fall. She has United health insurance PPO when she got there they refused care due to the fact that they were not her primary physician. Having a PPO as your Medicare insurance does not require an authorization from anyone, you can see any doctor that is your network.
