I completely missed my appointment and actually had no recollection of it. My phone rang at the appointment time and it was Dr Hassan. He said he noticed I didn’t come for the appointment and asked if I still needed to see him. We needed up having a phone appointment. First doctor to diagnose my condition after countless doctors and appointments over a twelve year period. I had given up. I am not one to complain, but something needs to be said. This is a very busy office (so they keep telling us), but also a very poor excuse to be rude to people. I am a vulnerable cancer patient and in my 57 years, I have never encountered such a rude and dismissive medical administrative assistant. I contacted Kawartha Urology to follow up on an old referral that I requested them to place on hold while I recovered from extensive cancer-related surgery and treatment. Dr Hassan Peterborough Went to go see him for a couple of tests, he was one of the best Doctors that I have ever seen. His bedside manner and his professionalism was top notch. His medical receptionist Kaitlyn was exceptional as well. Thank-You
Never felt more comfortable talking to a Dr. In my life. Dr. Hassan seems like a very compassionate and professional doctor. Looking forward to getting back to normal.
I was very disgruntled to see a sign in the waiting room of Kawartha Urology, warning patients the wait time could be upwards of one hour beyond the scheduled appt time. The sign went on to say that this was beyond their control. Seeing as how the clinic sets the appt times, they totally have control. We waited 55 mins beyond our appt time. A gentleman that came in well after us was ushered in to see our doctor before us, which was extremely disappointing.
