Terrible coffee shop honestly. It’s ridiculous it can even survive and it’s only because it has a celebrity owner. Owner should truly come here once in awhile and feel shame.
As a visitor from Mexico and a huge System of a Down fan, visiting Kavat Coffee was such a cool experience. The caf� has a strong connection to Serj Tankian, and you can find band-related merchandise, photos, and pieces of the band’s history while enjoying a coffee or a snack. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend some time just looking around and taking in the atmosphere. And who knows—you might even get lucky and run into Serj himself. For System of a Down fans, this is definitely a special stop in Los Angeles.
The coffee is great and the people who work here are fantastic. This is a review for the coffee subscription. There is no way to cancel a subscription through their website or through the Shop app, and they haven't responded to any of the 5+ emails I've sent about it. I even got a new debit card and they're somehow still charging the old one because I can't manage my existing subscription.
