A very interesting and informative tour, especially with Genny, our tour guide. The only problem we had was trying to decide which coffee beans to purchase and how many!
It is a mandatory stop the first day, to load up on coffee. I even joined the coffee club!
It is a huge operation with some funny rules. There is a tasting room where you can sample ALL of their wonderful coffees. The farm/plantation itself is interesting. But they have some odd features. You can purchase only featured coffee, and their menu is really limited to hot dogs and nachos. And if you purchase anything to eat or drink (go somewhere else for food....it's overpriced and not very good) you can't take it into the gift shop which is on the way to the parking lot. I have been addicted to this coffee for over 15 years. Best coffee for sure.
I am so glad we stopped there this is a great place to visit and learn all about how coffee is made. Someone has a great sense of humor when you read the signs posted around the plantation.
