For more than a 100 years, this huge cafeteria-style Jewish deli has been delighting New Yorkers with their pastrami and brisket sandwiches alongside their scrumptious "kosher-style" meals. The Reuben was amazing and pastrami is so worth trying even if you don't like it. That said, holy crap $20 for a sammie with no sides or anything!!

My go-to order is pastrami, Swiss, thousand island, and slaw, with a can of Dr. Brown's, sour pickles, and fries or latkes.
No wait after 9 pm on a Sunday.
Just the most classic ambiance- you are just feeling the SOUL of NYC when you come here. The pastrami is my favorite order here. HUGE stacks of meat on thin bread slices is the NY deli style sandwich.
