Cute Mom and Pop Place I love Katy's Korner. It reminds me of the little family restaurants I eat at when I go home to Texas to visit family. The food taste home cooked not frozen and you can tell they care about their customers. I always recommend them to friends for breakfast.
Awesome breakfasts This is a cute little place with wonderful breakfast potatoes and omelettes. I like the spanish omelette the best. Service is quick and friendly. Try the monterey pepper sauce instead of tabasco, it's awesome.
Breakfast This is without a doubt the BEST breakfast place in town!! I go here every weekend, literally! The food is excellent, the service is fast and the people are friendly. The only problem is that because the place is so popular, there always seems to be a line to get in. But, they turn the tables quick, so you never have to wait too long. There is also free coffee offered while you are waiting and the heat lamps are on outside if the weather is cold.
very disappointing – Breakfast all day is absolutely decadent concept. Unfortunately, on more than few occasions Katy's Korner was more than a disappointment. The service was rude and forgetful; the cups (twice) came to the table dirty. The eggs were seriously tough and overcooked. We have also ordered pancakes; they arrived late and cold. This place does not deliver.
Just like grandma's kitchen! – Katy's Korner has THE BEST breakfast in the area - a neighborhood gem! I am a huge fan of the "California Benedict" with turkey & avocado - awesome hollandaise sauce. Be sure to order a side of their highly-addictive bacon (a MUST). The staff is always very attentive, and super-speedy. Well worth waiting for on busy weekends! TIP: Watch for "Katy's Kreek" restaurant in Walnut Creek - opening soon!
Best Eggs Benidict in Town They serve the best Eggs Benedict in the area. The menu has a wide variety of variations on the traditional. The staff is friendly and quick once you get a seat but on the weekends expect to wait up to an hour but the wait is more than worth it. The decor is fun and the establishment is clean. The only negative I can find is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch.
Best breakfast in San Ramon! Katy's Korner is one of the area's top destinations for pleasant dining and superb cuisine. The breakfast is hand's down, the best in the area. The owner has taken the time to get the recipes right, and hand pick the servers. The kitchen staff is a little awnry at times, and seems to give the servers grief, but overall the experience is like no other in the area. All the feel of a hometown greasy spoon, without all the grease...
Go here for breakfast or lunch They have indoor and outdoor seating available and a really great menu of food. They are moderately priced and give nice portions. Definitely plan to wait if it is a weekend as they do tend to get very busy. Their omelets and waffles are wonderful and for lunch their salads and sandwiches are always fresh.
