I am very disappointed with the treatment that my children and I recieved at Dr. Bhatts office. Her staff is very incompetent and rude. I spoke to two different people at her office that did not know what they were doing. I took off work and showed up with my kids in a thunderstorm. When I get there they tell me that I have to reschedule for next month.I asked for all of my personal information and the lady at the desk had just thrown it in a trashcan. I am looking for other doctor. I always left her office confused and mad. She has to stay at home. She looks like hate her job. She never listen to me my questions and never I got answers.
I have to say that Dr.Bhatt has been nothing but helpful to my child. I have taken a child into my home who is on medicaid. My other children go to another doctor in Katy but she does not deal with medicaid so I found Dr. Bhatt. Yes, she does not exactly emit warm fuzzy feelings, but she gets down to business and does not waste anytime. She is compassionate enough to be sensitive to what and how she asks certain personal questions about this child and has helped us get through a very rough transition. I like her very much. IId be willing to bet that the majority of the negative comments reguarding Dr. Bhatt are from either young or first time inexperienced moms. While Id agree that she tends to have a personality all her own, I have come to understand her over the last 10 years that I have taken ALL my children to her. Children do not always need medication, especially antibiotics. Kids are amazingly resilient and usually bounce right back given adequate time. I agree with everything everyone is saying. Dr. Bhatt is a horrible doctor. She is rude and just does not like kids.I have gotten into it with her more than once. We have even yelled at each other. The only reason I have to take my kids to her is because my kids are on Medicaid. So sad that a doctor would act like that. She is horrible. If you take your kids to her only do it for shots or a runny nose. If you think there is something more serious going on take you kids to a better doctor. This doctor seems as if she doesnt want to be bothered. She was very rude and would cut me off in the middle of telling her whats wrong with my child. My kids have been there twice and both times i was disappointed. I would never take my kids there again.
I disagree, based on my experience, with everybody else who has given bad reviews about Dr Bhatt. I used to go to see Dr Battu (diff doctor) before, who is a wonderfull doctor too. Then due to distance as I moved out of Houston to Katy, I started seeing Dr Bhatt. That time my child was 4 yrs old. Had another child then. So Dr. Bhatt is the doctor of my all my children. I took my child to Dr. Bhatt for a couple of years and like so many, each time I left confused and angry. She does interupt everytime I try to explain what is going on with my child and shows zero compassion. She is down right rude to me and my child. Her bedside manner was horrible. I have since found an excellent Pedi in Katy and upset with myself for subjecting myself and child to this terrible doctor(Bhatt) for so long. Time to retire Dr. Bhatt or attend charm school.
Its time for Dr. Bhatt to retire. She is clearly no longer interested in her patients and doesnt appear to be engaged when you are talking to her. She attempted to shove a tongue depresser in my daughters mouth without warning and after discovering that my child had strep throat she commented that she was concerned (about herself!) because my child had coughed on her.
