Excellent katsu. Worth visiting
Food was good but service and atmosphere were not. We visited on a Sunday for lunchtime and the restaurant was very cold. It was empty when we arrived but a few tables came after us. We ordered two mains and an appetizer. They don't give you plates for your app, so you're just hovering eating over your napkin trying not to drop anything. Tried Katsuya for the first time on Feb 22 2026. The food was delicious, the fried meats were crispy and light. The cheese balls and crab meat balls were also very tasty. Everything was flavorful and very good. The service however was disappointing. Our server, which was a lady spoke impatiently as she handed our forks. She even raised her voice for us to take them from her. We have kids and were talking to the kids when she came. It felt very impolite to do this.
