High quality katsu
Katsu batter was fluffy and light, nice and crispy. Pork was thin and dry, rice tasted a day or two days old (or using low quality rice). Tartar sauce tasted very sweet, recipe got changed?
Still our go to place for tonkatsu
The katsu was average but the sauces were not great. Ours came with like BBQ sauce and tomato mixed sauce. Not genuine Japanese katsu as it is customised to local flavour. The cabbage on the side also doesn’t have the right dressing. The place looks run down though the service was ok.
