RecommendedI’ve been going to Katie’s weekly now for just about a decade, and I think it’s only gotten better with time. The seasonal specials make each week/month an extra special surprise. And as a vegetarian, I’ve never been at a loss for finding something healthy and delicious — and if there’s something that sounds delicious, but has meat, they are always happy to accommodate by leaving it out (when requested, of course). Great little neighborhood place for breakfast. Usually pretty crowded but the wait is never too long. Small but cozy. Kid friendly. Reasonably priced. Good portions.
I recently learned of them from Chicago's Best TV. I've enjoyed my visits so far and look forward to exploring more of their menu. They're celebrating their 11th anniversary, sorry it took me so long to find and to make the road trip.

We have been here twice and the food is delicious that's for sure . However the lady at the counter with short hair and slightly older when you come in seems to only be friendly to the regulars. Our servers have been great both times but the teenage girls who hang out by the front and "seat" you need more training in being friendly. My boyfriend who never gives things like that a care even noticed . It's very unpleasant and off putting. Teach them to smile and not stare rudely.
