Dr. K. Albain is very knowledgeable. She has done an excellent job managing my care, from specialized testing to determining the best treatment for me. I am grateful for her and her team, especially her nurse Barb Busby.
I have led an active life, both physically and mentally, but I have also experienced some medical set-backs, including open-heart surgery, glaucoma and kidney disease. Dr. Albain's expertise, attention to detail and laser-like focus on my cancer gave me total confidence that she would do everything possible to beat it and save my life, and this got me through the toughest, scariest days. Thanks to her, I am here and healthy nearly 12 years later. I still see her annually and am grateful for the opportunity to have her check on me. I can't imagine a better oncologist.
Dr. Albain is an outstanding oncologist who cares deeply about her patients. She is brilliant and conscientious. I consider her an excellent resource for the Chicago area.
