Dr. Kim is knowledgeable and recognized as an expert by my medical doctor as well as by the specialists at the Ophthalmology Department at Peterborough Hospital, who initially referred me to her. She is efficient without rushing, and very thorough. She is kind and ensures that I understand my condition completely.

Dr. Vasan deserves higher than 5 stars, even if 5 is ‘the Best’. Not only are his knowledge and skills better than the best, his ability to connect with his patients as an empathetic human is without peer. He explains medical terms in understandable language, turns the computer monitor so I can see the images that he is describing, includes me in the conversation and entertains every last question or concern with equal and authentic concern. Grateful to have Dr. Kim as my treating physician. She takes the time to explain my treatment and answers all my questions. She puts me at ease.
The procedure was painless. The nurse made sure that there was plenty of time to numb the area before the local anesthetic was administered, so there was no pain. Dr Yoon worked quickly, and the nurse kept right up with him as well. Post op procedures were explained in detail, and I left with a full bag of gauze, swabs and antibiotic ointment so I did not have to stop at a pharmacy. Excellent experience and kudos to both the Nurse and the Doctor.
I had my usual yearly with Dr. Ryan Vasan, who is always a pleasure to see, and who--from what I've seen--enjoys seeing his patients. He is such a calm, gentle, yet meticulous doctor, who takes his time 'translating' important info to his patients in a manner that is truly digestible.
