Since I was a kid, I knew this was my calling, so you can say that I'm living the dream of being an awesome dentist out here in sunny San Diego :) If you're looking for a great dentist who can deliver comfortable injections, you've found the right place. I recently had some old fillings replaced with white composites, and what can I say...Dr. Agatep is a great dentist. She is funny, gentle, and most of all - educational. She takes the time to explain the procedure and what to expect. I thought I was going to have to return for some adjustments like I have with previous dentists, but we got it right the first time. Dr. Agatep, Tracy, Ashley, Lindsey, and Beth are quite a team! Dr. Agatep is careful and quick, doing the work she indicates you need by showing you photographs and xrays of your teeth so that the work she's doing is clearly needed. She's just about pain free--saying a lot compared to my previous dentist! Her staff is friendly, upbeat, and competent. Her costs are relatively low, and her staff takes care of insurance. I'm so glad to have found her.
Having been in TV News for 25 years, maintaining a great smile has always been a huge priority for me. It's especially important now because of High Definition, which is unforgiving. Very thorough and friendly. Up to date facility that is welcoming and relaxing. No pain! Like the interest free financing. Does not feel like a dentist's office. I had my wisdom teeth extracted, and a short time after the oral surgery, my lower jaw bone broke. I had to go in for another surgery to fuse my jaw back together using a titanium plate. One complication from the surgery was the loss of feeling in that area. After almost 12 months of having complete numbness in my face, I was beginning to think it would be permanent. Dr. Agatep is an exceedingly competent dentist adept in providing top quality care. Every procedure is explained in detail and all questions are answered completely and clearly. Also, financing is flexible and affordable. You can't beat the spa like ambiance...I often forget I am at a dentist's office!
I have a problem with grinding my teeth in my asleep. I grinded through 2 rubber mouth guards and cracked a plastic one. This problem led to severe headaches, shoulder and neck soreness. Out of all the dentists and TMJ specialists I talked to, Dr. Agatep offered the best solution for my problem. The orthotic device she gave me is great!
