Helped with my restless legs and listened to my concerns regarding certain medications without condescension. She did a very thorough blood workup to make certain nothing more serious was going on. I'm very appreciative as a retired nurse.
I went with my brother to his appointment with Dr. LaFaver. Upon arrival, the first person encountered at the desk, was very kind, friendly and helpful. The building was very clean and comfortable to be in. The nurse, who took us back to the room, was also kind, friendly and helpful. Dr. LaFaver listened to everything my brother had to say and answered all of his questions and didn't rush him through the appointment. She is an angel of sound. Very knowledgeable about the brain. Has helped many people.
Unfortunately, not the Doctors fault. Can't even get into to see her. Staff is so unwilling to help and work with you. We cannot get a straight answer, and they are very rude. They closed referral without notice and told primary total misinformation when primary called to see what is going on.
Selfishly I have been hesitant to post a review about Dr. LaFaver because I don’t want to share her! She is truly THE BEST! She is so caring and patient. She has advocated for me with the insurance company multiple times. At each appointment she shares articles, book suggestions and techniques for me to try. She definitely does her research and stays on top of the latest treatment options. Most importantly she has never been dismissive of me. She has always treated me with respect and kindness.
