It took a LONG time to be served. Chicken Marsala was way too sweet. Soup was luke-warm. Macaroni had an odd taste. Likely won’t go back.

I have had the brunch at Kate’s so many times, and it never disappoints....but PLEASE, take the onions out of the shrimp and grits. This dish has been my ‘go to’ for years now—-my friends and I went yesterday, and I found myself picking out onions, which had never been in this previously (in all the times I’ve had it). The grits, shrimp, sauce, bacon, tomatoes and corn are enough to make this absolutely delicious without onions. Thank you!

The food was OK, but it was all cold and we had waited a rather long period of time before it arrived at our table. We had to send one dish back to be warmed up.
I went early, after 10, Sunday. It was cold enough inside to wear a jacket. The waitress said the heat hadn't been on very long. I was really wanting a burger. I asked for medium but it came well done and dry. Elizabeth was my waitress and she fun and cheery. They have outside seating as well and a separate bar area
