I would like to give less than 1 star for the care – or lack of care – Dr. Katerji gave to my 5 month granddaughter who has epilepsy. He refused to see her for 4 days and wouldn't talk to my son and daughter-in-law on the phone until Day #3, even though she was experiencing 12 and 10 minute seizures multiple times a day during her 5-day stay at Edwards. When he finally came on Day #4, he didn't examine my granddaughter and put his dirty bag into her clean crib. He put her on Phenobarbital, which we were told by neurologists ... read more
Terrible and unprofessional doctor who refuses to see his patients. Ended up prescribing medication our daughter was highly allergic to.
Horrible doctor. Refuses to see patients in the hospital. He prescribed a medicine that was NOT for babies with epilepsy. He caused more problems and gave NO answers. He delayed critical patient care and that’s not what doctors should be doing. They should be there for emergency situations and should be able to assess patients properly. Completely disheartening that he is prescribing medications to children that can cause developmental delays.
