I love Dr. Riabova! She is very patient, kind, sympathetic and never judgmental, also very understanding. She has been my Psychiatrist for going on six or more years now. (Telehealth and In person.)

I was diagnosed as bipolar 2 by her in 2017. I was led through the bipolar questionnaire by her with no other possibilities. I have since come to the conclusion that I am autistic and not bipolar. This diagnoses was confirmed by a therapist and 2 psychiatrists. Because of Riabova, I will never escape this inflammatory diagnosis.

I’ve seen Dr. Riabova for years, and at first I believe she was helpful, but for the last several years, she has been very scattered and just someone who refills medication. She constantly late for appointments, whether in person or virtual, can’t keep track of billing, and is distracted during appointments.

I’ve had several interactions with psychiatrists, but none better than Dr. Katerina. She’s diligent, intentional, and really cares about my well being. She’s as sweet as can be and is remarkably easy to work with. 10/10.

Terribly disorganized as a psychiatrist, very unresponsive staff. Would never go to her.

My experience echoes others' experiences. Although I like her as a person, she is terribly disorganized as a psychiatrist. At the moment I am almost out of a medication, and her phone just goes to voicemail. So I'm left reaching out to my primary care doctor, who feels uncomfortable prescribing psych meds, and needs to see me in person so it will cost more money. Dr. Riabova does not have your best interests in mind, and her lack of organization makes dealing with her frustrating.

Dr. Riabova was extremely difficult to work with and was unprofessional right from the first steps of setting up an initial consultative appointment.

Sad to say it but she is definitely the pill pusher type. Some appointments went well but during more than half she had a rude/ passive aggressive attitude. When I expressed concerns about my medications it felt as if she was belittling me and did not have my best interests in mind. One thing I will say is that the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming during all of my visits.

The first time I visited Dr. Riabova, the lack of empathy and interruptions were disconcerting. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but it turns out that listening is not a skill she has acquired yet. My insurance wouldn't pay for another review, so I had to keep seeing her for a few more months until the new year. Each visit was the same - it was like talking to a wall. It was also a complete waste of time and I wish I had not spent my copays on Riabova. Plus she's always late!
