Dr Nellans is a wonderful surgeon. However the aftercare leaves A LOT to be desired. I had to call 3 times in the days following surgery only to be told to take acetaminaphin for the extreme pain I was in, was told there was nothing else they could do. In my opinion there was a lot they could have done but refused to help me. I was unable to sleep from the pain level. I will never return.
Dr. Nellans is very nice but she seems to work closely with her colleague Dr. Randy Cohen. Cohen is a shoulder surgeon. Shoulder surgeon who ruined my life. Long story short, Cohen has left me in excruciating pain for over two years. Nellans cosigned his nonsense stating the pain is temporary. I have sharp, stabbing like pain in my fingers and palm. Dr. Nellans relieved my pain almost immediately. She and her staff could not have been more professional and welcoming and just made you feel comfortable. She was referred to me by 4 separate people, and it was a great choice.

Dr. Nellans was amazing She is experienced, smart and caring I have severe RA, and major hand deformities. I came in with a broken hand including 2 broken fingers. Her skill, understanding and ability put me at ease I am healing well. I am grateful to have found her
I had one visit. No followup needed at this time. She was very professional in her exam and very knowledgeable. She listened to me, was polite and courteous. I thought of a question after she left and would have preferred to ask her directly but was only able to ask the asst. Subtract 1 star for feeling a bit rushed. Wait time was only 1/2 hr.
the peop taking the appointments ok not efficient.. had a problem with my info being hacked and tried to find out .. no avail...to my surprise received a nasty message from the dr on voice mail... now if i did have a rude tone from being frustrated with staff i would have expected a call from dr to discuss with me personally before labeling me guilty... figured id ignore unprofessional behavior.so had operation and while im waking from op. she brings this matter up...that was not professiona
