Katahdin Property Management is well run and has guidelines and standards that you would expect any reputable commercial and residential property management company to uphold. I recommend them highly.
This company is extremely unprofessional. Their application process is not set up for business owners trying to rent commercial property, only for residential so the application questions are not applicable but force you to answer to complete the application. They did an aggressive background check into my personal life but didn't follow up on anything related to my business. Hop Nguyen, who is the property manager, is excellent. She is always responsive, communicative, and lets us know if there will be any work done on the building, etc. I have never laid eyes on the owner of our building, thus, Hop is the face of Katahdin Properties in my experience, and I think she is an asset to the company. I lived at one of their properties for a year in Brunswick, Maine. In my opinion, Holman Homes and Katahdin Property Management are terrible companies and they are terrible people. They gave me 30-days notice after I informed them there was mold in the apartment and set my move out 3-days before Christmas.
