I am beyond disappointed and honestly disgusted by how I was treated by this office after being a loyal patient for 3 years. After my second pregnancy, I developed extremely painful skin tags on my neck that bleed constantly, get caught in my clothes and hair, and are pulled by my children. I am in daily pain. Dr. Bilcha is a very good dermatologist however, his front desk staff leaves something to be desired. Dr. Bilcha was ready to do a quick procedure on me that would have taken less than 5 minutes but the front desk staff instead made me go back to the waiting room and then said I would be behind 4 other patients, which means over an hour wait, in addition to the already 45 minutes we had waited up until that time. Great dermatologist!
Very negative experience with Dr. Bilcha. He's not receptive to patient feedback, even when it's not critical of him personally. When telling him after 4 months of treatment for my 7-year-old kid's dermatitis that putting a thick Vaseline-consistency ointment all over her body twice a day was not practical because she's a child, it rubs off on her clothes, and she's also active, his response was not to listen and consider alternatives but rather to fall back on "this is the standard of care" and "I've been doing this for 20 ... read more
