Soooooo GOOD! – Excellent! Loved this place. Great service, delicious food. We read reviews on this website before we went. We tried the elephant beans as advised--THANK YOU! Honestly, everything was so good. You can't go wrong with this place!
Excaptional Food! – We got lucky when we found Kashkaval. We were planning lunch at a yakitoriya on 55th, but it was closed, and somehow we ended up here. And we couldn't have been happier. I don't know what kind of spoiled, picky-eater children other people have, but my 9 year-old absolutely loved the place and was reluctant to leave. In Love With This Place – After reading reviews that there aren't many tables for groups, I made reservations ahead of time and we were seated within seconds of arriving. I also read a review saying cats were around, so when I mentioned that, they quickly offered to make sure the cats were put elsewhere while we dined (although I haven't heard of any other complaints regarding that, so I wonder how often the cats are actually there). Cozy & Laidback- Wine and Cheese! – This place is great! I have been here a number of times. It's cozy. The cheese is yummy and atmosphere quaint (best at night). There is also this great wine Montepulcianno, that we get every time and its really afordable! Try it! It's reminds me of Europe.
Poor Service, Cats everywhere – First the wrong bread came out with the appetizer, then when i tried to order a second glass of wine for my main course... The only thing I could get attention from was one of at least two cats running around that kept batting at my table. The staff was too busy ordering sushi for dinner and then laying it out to eat on the bar to even bring me my check. At $30 dollars for a dinner for one... you'd be better off going somewhere else.
Great customer service, quiet during lunch hours – Everything looked so fresh and delicious....however, I wouldn't recommend a wrap. Go for the salads and sides.
Great Local Wine Bar... – Everytime my husband and I go there, we are never disappointed. The wine is always good, the tapas are always yummy, especially with the warm pita bread. The wine and cheese plate are plentiful and can't wait to try the fondue or table grilling. If you are going out with friends and want some apps and wine and great/friendly service then you have to try this place.
Great fondue, super nice service – I loved this place!! I almost hesititate to write a review because the atmosphere was so great and I would hate for it too become to crowded. The food was very good, a great deal, and the place its self was great. The wait staff is very freindly, they make it feel like you're eating in a freindly little european town.
disappointing delivery experience – They forgot a sandwich, didn't include plastic forks, and didn't include pita with the hummus platter. Also, the sandwiches (nearing $7) didn't come with anything like chips or a side. Overall, not worth the money. Eating in, the atmosphere saves it, but at your desk, it's a very disappointing experience.
