Dr Smith removed my right big toenail 2 months ago. The nurse said OTC pain products would take care of the pain. Boy was she wrong. During the night i resorted to some pain meds i had left from some dental work. The next morning i called the drs office and asked if thats normal, she said I should expect "some tenderness". May 2017 Dr. Smith did great with my toe amputation but at the 2 week post op appt he did not numb me when my stitches failed to work and my toe opened back up, he did a debridement procedure on my open wound with no pain meds and sent me home with an opened wound. The next day he decided to have me come in to stitch me back up & he did another debridement procedure before stitching me back up with out numbing me. Because of Dr. Smith, I still have both of my feet. I am a severe diabetic and had diabetic foot ulcers. He knew exactly what needed to be done, and saved my feet. I will be forever grateful for him.
My appointment was 2 weeks after my first call. Once in the medical office the procedure was fast and really successful. I spent less than an hour waiting to be seeing, treated and even setting up a check up for the weeks to come.They really make sure their work is well done.
