I Dig Kasa I go to KASA way too much. Indian flavors meet burrito bar efficiency. Odd thing, I went to the new location in the Marina/Cow Hollow area, and there were NO specials and the prices seemed higher. I could be imagining things. Anyway, I love getting a roll of Chicken Tikka and a side of Dahl/Rice. If I don't feel like a side I'll get either the lamb or the Goolab Roti. I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. The tasteful decor, the excellent service, and especially the FOOD make Indian Garden one of my favorite restaurants for a long, conversational lunch or a romantic dinner. The samosas are the best anywhere, and every dish I've ever tried has become my favorite. It might be difficult to choose between the many restaurants on Devon, but Indian Garden stands out for its friendliness, consistency, and quality.
Kasa Indian Eatery is great Indian fastfood! Kasa was a nice take on Indian 'fast food'. The portions were very generous and tasted really good. The place is a bit small, but the orders are fast and you have a choice of eating your orders with their delicious rolls (highly recommended-like a burrito) or a combination plate without.
Love the concept, love the food. Kasa is a great addition to the neighborhood and a welcome alternative to burritos and sandwiches. The food is delicious, convenient, and reasonably priced. Super high quality ingredients. The service has always been very friendly and helpful. The decor is clean, airy, modern, but not contrived. It's great for lunch or a simple dinner, especially before or after a cocktail or beer in the neighborhood. Delivery has always been fast and courteous.
Opened my eyes to what Indian food should be – I'm a little obsessed with Kasa...it's that good! Read about this place in the Chronicle when they first opened, and I've been a loyal convert ever since. Food is gorgeously balanced in flavor, not nuked with onions, garlic, chilis and food coloring.
