The 1st visit about 2 weeks ago everyone was so nice, 2nd visit today (7/29/25) not very nice rude at check in. Please remember people are sick and scared, take your time and please try to understand. Some of the parents are hard of hearing.
My doctor sent a refferal over in April. I have been calling their office 3-4 times a week to schedule. They LOST my referral 3 times between April and July 2025. My Dr had to resend each time. Never got a call so I called 2-3 times every week for months to be ignored. When my family Dr finally reached them they admitted that I’ve been calling. I had Dcis Stage 0 My Dr caught it very early. I was sent to Karmanos Cancer Center in Flint. They took GREAT care of me.
I took my best friend here. It was terrible visit. The first thing that came out of the doctor’s mouth was about money he had to pay $350 before he could even walk in the door not one test was done not a blood test not a urine test this place made me sick if you are poor, don’t go there! I pray to God, not all oncologist are like this when somebody is scared for their life. Dr. Hotaling is one of the best doctors. He really helped my dad with his tonsil surgery and is currently cancer free.
