I would give this outfit a zero if I could !! charged $229.00 for not being able to change my Facebook password And had the balls to charge a $4.00 gas fee. What a scam !!!!! BEWARE !!!!!
Scam. I texted a detailed description of my issue, and without doing any sort of preliminary vetting, or consideration, this firm vastly over promised and misled. Quick to collect $129, as soon as their third party contractor showed up (these are all contractors, not employees) it took him less than 5 minutes to say this is not an issue that can be solved on the user end and agreed the service call should never have been booked. They came out to my stepdads 3 different times for his security system. And they were not able to achieve anything. He paid 2 invoices equaling over $450. On the third time they came out, they told him they would not charge him because they were not able to do anything. Now they’re wanting him to spend over $600, when they absolutely nothing, and then they sent him to credit collection!! When they did absolutely nothing, and achieved nothing. They sold me an adapter and when it did not work, they wanted to charge me to fix it. Their apparent bas service and dishonesty is a bad combination. Give them a pass.
I made the mistake of using Karl's (fake) Technology in the Atlanta area. They are scammers. Don't use them. My guy took 2 hours to find a 5 minute error because he was supposedly their best Mac guy which was total BS. Didn't appear he had ever worked on one. I complained the same day after paying him $250 to leave, they offered a $125 refund which I took but not before having to sign a Refund Agreement that said I would have to keep my mouth shut. This is a fraudulent company. They do not hold licenses nor tax certificates for the they do business in this the consumer has not protection. States should sue Matt Daniel Karls. He also sends people to collections on a whim without following the consumer debt protection laws. On top of all that, the techs are contract labor and do not have a clue about technology.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! After speaking with someone to schedule a battery replacement for my MacBook, their tech showed up without the battery. I was charged $125 for the tech to open the MacBook and tell me what part to order off amazon. They flat out misled me into thinking they have the battery when they took all the info about the MacBook. Now they want to charge another $125 to come back once I buy the part so they can install it. These guys are crooks and should not be allowed to operate a business in Arizona.
Please be aware and read the reviews before using this company. I am out of the DFW area and they sent over someone with minimal tech experience and after an hour of attempting to get my files from the laptop hard drive, we were left with a $100+ bill. I came across Stein Solutions, and was walked through with how to resolve the issue and all it took was an adapter I ordered for $10, and it took 10 minutes to get my files.
