I can honestly say Dr. Koenig is the best doctor I’ve ever met. After a total knee replacement and a revision surgery with another doctor, I developed a staph infection that lingered for three years. It was terrifying, and I feared I might lose my leg since nothing seemed to work. Dr. Koenig was straightforward and honest about what needed to be done. I met with this surgeon for the first time yesterday, and unfortunately, did not have the positive experience many other reviewers on here claim to have had under his care. As another person posted, I too believe he had made up his mind about me, based on my past, prior to ever even meeting me! He was judgmental and arrogant, and in the 10ish minutes he spent with me, he exhibited awful bedside manner. Needless to say, I will be finding another surgeon to provide my care.
Dr. Koenig was very pleasant,intuitive and responsive to his patients.
I can't recommend Dr. Koenig more!!! He operated on me, six weeks ago, and it already feels as if I never had a surgery. From our first encounter, I found him, not only knowledgeable, but also a very personable and compassionate person. Dr K performed THR on my son. I am ortho surgeon in another state and I think Dr K’s bedside manner is great, the out patient experience was excellent, and most important, the surgery and recovery went very well. Would recommend to anyone.
