Dr. My name is Arbor Jack Snowden. You treated me for giant call arteritis left eye. Thank you great job. I have developed a weird symptom. When close my eyes I “see” the typical dark with dots of light plus a pattern of grid lines like the Amsler chart. Last I saw it my eyes open on my bathroom wall. No other symptoms. Problem?

Dr. Golnik took the time to explain my condition. Staff and office personal were excellent. Dr. Golnik is a fine Doctor, would recommend him and the Cincinnati Eye Institute.

It was wonderful that Dr. Golnik called me immediately to give me the test results. He did not want me to worry over the week-end. I have never had a doctor so this much concern for his/her patient. I would highly recommend him to others.
I had an 8:45AM meeting today. Apparently charts were not ordered so, upon arrival at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, I was told my apt was cancelled. I had to have special approval through Anthem to receive services from Dr. Golnik who is NOT in my employer network (one of only a few at CEI that isn't). Dr Golnik may be a great Opthalmologist....I will never know because of the lack of professionalism of his office staff. Maybe that that lack of attention carries over to eye care.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Golnik. Communication with Dr. Golnik was excellent. He answered all of my questions, explained why I was to have an MRI and a couple of days later the doctor personally called my home to let me know that nothing adverse was found. This is better than most doctors would do.
I would highly recommend Dr. Golnik, very caring individual that explained things so you could understand.
