We almost lost our puppy last week after an operation to clear an obstruction. She had several post-op complications, and we were essentially told to prepare for the worst, while trying to find the thousands of dollars required to keep her in care at the Emergency Centre. Despite not being her usual vet, the team at Karingal stepped up to provide her post-operative care for the next few days, which helped us to keep ongoing costs down enough that we could keep paying. My little mate Casper has stayed overnight at the vets for a condition he has. I received a call from Sophie this morning saying that Casper slept ok overnight and that they would monitor his situation and perform the ultrasound this afternoon....to me this is great personal service.... for a hooman who is waiting for his buddy to come home.... and Mia is waiting for him too.
Editing my review as I have more to add: we've had a sick kitten coming and going as of late, and Dr Mike in particular has been absolutely wonderful. -- They were able to see my elderly cat last minute notice and took great care of her.
Top end diagnostic, treatment and care for our extended paw family, staff is just extraordinary, we can't thank them enough for the love and care they provided to us so that we knew everything possible is considered, finally we got some good news medicating down and recover, glad to be with this fantastic team
I have been going to KVC for years now Previously with my dog Max who was very aggressive towards strangers, Ari and the nurses at KVC accommodated to that every single visit and never made me feel judged. The beautiful part of that is Max became friendly with both the vet and nurses because of their kindness and patience. I've also been bringing my greyhound Rom to KVC for the past year and a bit even though I no longer live in the area because they are the only clinic I trust.
