Dr. Simon appears to be a caring GI when really she is just a drug pusher for the pharmaceutical companies for biologics and Prednisone. She can't think outside of the very small box for patients such as myself who have a high probability of death from PML on biologics (my brother died at 45 of PML)... I'm not sure what kind of doctor can see their patient (of 6 years) in severe pain in front of them and instead of helping they tell you they can't be your doctor anymore and get your other doctors to gang up and bully you bec... read more
My mother an elderly had a procedure, colonoscopy this morning and her experience was unsatisfactory due to the fact that Dr Simon was inconsiderate towards her while in pain during the procedure. My mother advised her she was in pain and Dr Karen Simon failed to understand or be compassionate towards her needs. As I advised Dr Karen Simon about my mother’s pain she got confrontational and berated me my telling me she’s done numerous procedures as if I needed to understand that she has experience. Dr. Simon is the best! She is caring and compassionate. Always listens and explains what she considers best course of action to achieve health goals. Dr. Simon diligently stays abreast on current research and medical practices. Her team is cordial, attentive, and thorough. Dr. Simon has earned my complete trust and confidence in the care she provides. I am truly blessed to have Dr. Simon as my doctor.
