I highly recommend Dr. Shimshak after seeing my 9yr. old son whose mildly autistic. She had quite a remarkable and supernatural ability in making him feel at ease and in maintaining his cooperation. Her thoroughness, obvious expertise, and compassion are what shed light on my son having a lifelong vision impairment that was missed by numerous past eye exams (+4 farsightedness in one eye).
