I have been with the Genesis Medical group since the beginning. I have the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Woodburn. He is the kind of of person that is truly interested in his patient’s state of health and mind. This may sound odd; but I actually enjoy seeing him. Lol My 91 year old Father even likes him, and he hates seeing Doctors! That in itself; says a lot about the kind of man and doctor he is. I am a fan!!! Rebecca does not follow up with test results. I take my test results to specialists and they follow up with more tests after she says everything is okay. She gives very brief and inaccurate information when asked questions. She is indecisive and not reliable. It can take over a month or one time 6 months to get an appointment with her. I asked her if she has been very busy seeing patients and she said, no she has had plenty of openings. Are my health concerns not important??

Office is a treated as a business not a medical practice, hence his fancy sports car. That's the very first thing I heard about Woodburn and that should've been a warning. He'll see you on your first visit then it's very restrictive to see him a second time so you end up visiting Physician Assistants. Then they will want to see you almost monthly so they can "monitor you and adjust your meds" and subsequently bill you. l'm going back to doctor in Monroeville even though it's out of the way.

I was shocked to find out that someone used my name to leave a bad review about Doctor Heyl and his practice on wellness.com. I can only hope that the office did not see this bogus review. Dr. Heyl and his whole office staff are the GREATEST! I would not go anywhere else. These people go above and beyond their duties I have never left this office feeling confused or that they had not addressed my problems thoroughly and have helped me to feel better.

Dr. Smith is an excellent GP. He is thorough and, although quiet, he is persistent in his diagnostics. He may have saved my life by insisting I have a stress test when I complained of head pain during stress. Found blockage in veins to heart requiring needed surgery when I was convinced I we should focus on my head issues. Excellent

I have for years had a condition that has proven difficult to diagnose. She has been very helpful in helping me through significant pain issues, has been very empathetic, caring and helpful. The same is true for my wife, who has rheumatoid arthritis. Love the staff, wait times are very reasonable.

I had been a patient at that practice for awhile. In 2012, I was very sick and had to go for blood transfusions. I was told a few days before I went by Lisa that if I didn't go to the Hospital when they wanted me to if I had a heart attack or stroke they were ( the Drs office) not responsible !!! Why would someone say this???? Then I was terminated as a patient because of cancelling appointments!! Nobody ever said anything to me ever about that or their policy?! And I never received an apology .
