Dismissive, condescending and lacking empathy. Doctors like her are why people with hidden illnesses don’t seek treatment and continue to suffer. I was a patient of hers at the headache clinic suffering from clusters and migraines which I’d had for over 20 years. She was unresponsive to requests, dragged her feet on needed referrals and once said “You know, you just don’t look like you’re in that much pain, like most other patients.
