I enjoy Family Medicine because it allows me the opportunity to work with patients not only on their chronic illnesses, but also healthy preventative measures. In addition, treating patients of ages from the infant stages to the elderly is challenging and extremely rewarding.

Dr. Palmer is incredibly thorough and attentive. She's great with my young children and puts them at ease, and she's been wonderful for my care too. We are always seen quickly and she makes me feel like she's got all of the time in the world.
Office staff competent and friendly. Dr. Palmer very attentive and helpful and encouraging.
Dr, Palmer is extremely professional and right to the point. She only puts you on medication if absolutely necessary, and reviews side effects.
The one on one with Dr Palmer is beyond description. She spends time, engages with you and upon leaving you know you have a Physician who will always regard you as a priority. Dr Palmer is all about the patient achieving positive results.
I was hesitant going to Dr. Palmer after my doctor left. She immediately put me at ease. She is accommodating, knowledgeable and caring. She is also confident in referring me to other more specific professionals. I wouldn't hesitate to refer others to her.
I saw her on high recommendation, but my experience was awful. My wait was short since no one else was there, which was the only plus. Palmer hadn't looked over my medical history at all, even though the office had had it for 4-5 weeks, and seemed to have little knowledge of my existing (common) health condition. She seemed distant and uncaring. I told her which labs I needed since she didn't read my file and she left them off the order. I left feeling uncared for and plan to find another doc.

Dr.Palmer is the most smart and caring doctor! I consider myself to be so blessed to have her as my primary care doctor; I have referred her and her office to many people!
I moved to the area a year ago and started seeing Dr. Palmer as my primary care doctor soon after. She’s great!! She takes the time to really listen, is thorough and personable, and discusses the options for treatment which I really appreciate. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Palmer to anyone!
I feel so incredibly lucky to have such excellent care provided by my PCP, Dr. Karen Palmer and the Appledore Practice. My concerns are addressed quickly, the staff caring and concerned when I call. The ease of meeting my needs is immediate. Calls are returned quickly and attention to details is obvious. Dr. Palmer is incredibly thorough, caring and knowledgeable; always listening to my issues and ensuring I understand what I need to do to stay healthy.
