Wow! I went to Karen in a 'mess' just not knowing what I wanted to do, where I wanted to do it - tired of where I was in life and asked her to help me sift thru the rubble and figure it out. I'll save the gory details but suffice it to say that I was able to close out my sessions knowing what I wanted to do, where I wanted to do it and happy about the course I decided to sail my ship. Karen is thoughtful, authentic, and not just going to say the kind of things you expect her to say; she really makes you think. Not your typical therapist! I would refer her to anyone. Karen is definitely the kind of person you want in your corner.
Karen Kennedy is a former colleague of mine. She's truly one of the loveliest people I've ever met. If I didn't already know her personally, she would be one of the first people I'd seek out if I needed counseling for myself. The way she talks about people, is so clearly compassionate, and positive. I've known her to empower folks who were much in need of that.
