I saw Dr. Lyda for about 5 years before my insurance changed. She took her time to listen to me and also was safe with the medication she prescribed to me. Unlike most providers she provided cognitive behavioral therapy along with medication. I would highly recommend her care.

Do not go to this woman! I was having a mental crises and she prescribed me wayyyyy too much of a medication and when I spoke to her about the reactions I was having (including extreme nausea), her advice was to literally sip a little Coke in the morning. Every time I called her to tell about my extreme reactions she would charge me. I understand that everyone's time is important but a 2 minute call does not warrant a full appointment charge. A much overdue review for Dr. Lyda. I had been on the same anxiety medication for well over a decade and wanted a second opinion outside of my primary care physician. At Dr. Lyda's suggestion, I changed my dosage by 37.5 mg which made a noticeable difference almost immediately.. Perhaps more importantly, the updated dosage was effective with both the brand name and generic formulations; I had paid out-of-pocket for "brand" since the generic formulation had proved ineffective with the past dosage.
