She was my doctor while being admitted to Akron General last summer for full body paralysis, as well as malnutrition due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Upon my first time meeting Dr. Floro, she accused me of an eating disorder and refused me fluids and alternative nutrition with the belief that I would eventually “give in.” For the sake of your physical health and mental well being, never see this doctor. If I could give zero stars, I would.
She was rude and didn't care what I needed or what I had to say. She had no answers for me, and made me feel bad about myself while I was being treated in the hospital under her care. Yes I'm heavy, and my weight caused my condition which led me to the hospital, but she made comments to the nurse while I was right there that were demeaning and cruel.I recommend Dr. Fetsko, who works with her at Akron General Hospital. He was a breathe of fresh air!! She could learn a lot from him.
