Fantastic karate dojo with an amazing sensei, instructors, volunteers, and admin team. My child has been attending Karate For All (affectionately known as KFA) since 2020, and we’ve had a consistently wonderful experience. Sensei Wayne is incredibly patient, understanding, and compassionate, and he truly connects with the kids. His obstacle courses, Halloween events, and gaming/movie nights are always a huge hit. They have a nice and caring staff teaching karate to my child with special needs. It’s a supportive and positive environment for students of all abilities to learn karate at their preferred pace.
My 9 year old son has been learning karate from Sensei Wayne for few years now. It has been such a great experience. Sensei Wayne not only teaches karate and self-defense skills but also social skills. He is strict when he needs to be but keeps the class fun for the kids. Also another bonus is each student gets one assistant instructor to help them during class. Sensei Wayne has such a wonderful way with the kids. My son has some significant special needs (the karate element but also the OT elements are valuable to us) and Sensei Wayne neither leaves my son behind nor does he slow up the more advanced kids. He has a great way of managing a full class of totally different levels, making use of black belts who have been in the program for a long time to help as various role models for the students. As an unnecessary bonus, he likes Star Wars as much as all of us middle-aged parents!
Karate for all is amazing. We’re so glad we found sensei Wayne. All of the staff are helpful and patient.
