Sent the incorrect part however when I called to complain, Dan in the Customer Service was extremely helpful in solving this issue. Even after 2 years Dan sent me the correct part at no charge and within a couple of weeks. Thank you Dan for your great customer service. Fuel pump for 1936 Dodge. Pump has no pressure!! Sent an email and no response. The price for the pump was 156 dollars. Summit Racing has the same pump for 45,99 dollars !!
Ordered a fuel pump for a 1966 Pontiac 6 cylinder OHC. The part came quickly but once installing it, it was defective. The customer service rep said all parts are tested. BS! They are going to replace the pump with another and hopefully the replacement works.
Absolutely horrible customer service. For a family-run business they should be ashamed. Salesman just hang up when they want. Avoid at all cost.

Since August 1 I have been trying to get Kanter to respond on price and availability for a wiring harness. Their catalog and their ads in Hemmings Motor News and the Buick Bugle Magazine indicate they have a source for such harnesses for cars through the 1970's. I inquired about price and availability for a 1969 Buick Electra. With 4 or more calls since August 1, no response. Latest call was today and no call back. Recently purchased brake system components for a 1939 Pontiac. Immediately disappointed when parts arrived. All these parts including wheel cylinders, master cylinder,brake shoes,brake hoses and hardware kit were all very poor quality and made in CHINA! Spring kit was totally junk. Had to grind/file all the brakes shoes in order to have them fit properly. After spending well over 500 bucks I expected better quality parts instead of Chinese crap. Very disappointed. Kanter= A TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!! They charge your credit card for parts, most of which they do NOT have in stock OR they are the middle man for another parts dealer OR your order is "lost" to be discovered weeks later "in our warehouse". They ADVERTISE all parts are in stock and every part is "guaranteed for life". Well, just TRY holding them accountable for their bait and switch like actions.
