Worst billing department I have ever worked with. I have tried multiple ways to get insurance billed correctly. This has been going on for 5 months and I’m still fighting with the physicians group. I just got home and found a collection notice.
RecommendedIn the last year our family has spent many days in and out of this hospital, that the staff has come to know us all by name. The team of drs and nurses have been amazing when it has come to the care of my dad. Our family can never repay all of the staff for everything they have done for him throughout this journey. My husband was recently in Kansas Medical Center for four days. While there we mentioned to the dr., Justin Fernandez, that his injured leg was red, swollen and warm. We requested that he do a sonogram to check for blood clots. Dr. Fernandez refuses, twice. Ten days later he almost died because those clots went to his lungs and caused a saddle pulmonary embolism. Do not go to this hospital unless you are prepared to die.
