If you have plugged up arteries then see Dr Ammar. Does a fantastic job. Have been there 3 times so know what I'm talking about. He is very focused on your problems and tells you everything you need to know. His primary nurse is an APRN with a master's degree and very knowledgeable. After surgery, if you are lucky you will have a nurse named Kathy. She spent many years as an ER nurse and definitely knows her stuff! Pay attention to what she says and you will do just fine. Had 8 blockages needed bypass surgery . Dr Arneson and his staff are amazing. The hospital is Top Notch, from the O R to the ICU. Best ever nursing staff! Kansas Heart Hospital is the best. Two days ago I had a pacemaker put in. I am so glad I chose those doctors and hospital. And the nurses give the best care.
Kansas Heart Hospital has been wonderful for us. My father had a valve replaced and a bypass a few year ago and just recently my stepson had a heart attack and was flown to this facility. The doctors and the staff are super friendly and kept us informed on both occasions as to the condition and what they were doing for our loved ones. It is very comforting to know what is going on at the time of a life changing event like a heart attack.
