I didnt even WANT to give them 1 star! Worst company I have ever dealt with. Why cant anything be done about them? Their automated online payment system is crap. Their customer service reps are beyond rude and will hang up on you. They hardly come to any sort of resolution. I pay my bills! And I pay them on time! And I still get disconnected and have to pay a reconnection fee?!?! I am not an irate customer and never have been, and still get treated as such for asking questions because I am being scammed... every month is ano... read more

There is nothing Public about the BPU they do whatever they want and just leave a big mess behind for the homeowners to clean up after them. It won't be so bad but they never tell you what they are doing and why they are destroying curbs and leaving nothing like it was before. Some of us actually care about the way things look in Kansas City, Ks and try to do the best they can to keep things up. Only electric company in Wyandotte and they are ****** people ! Highway robbery ! Something needs to be done about their billing , negative stars if I could !

They are the worst utility company in all my life. They get over and they over charge for everything... I was in a 2 bdrm apartment and my light bill was 450$ a month, I still can't believe it. Then when I asked someone to come check my meter, I was told no. I can not believe this is the company people in the KS area HAVE to use. It's ridiculous that they can get away with it, it's like highway robbery. Smh, if I could give a negative star I would.

Something needs to be done for people on a fixed income it's still cold and they are always wanting to turn off my utilities I pay what's due every month and still get treated like I'm not paying my bill I also have a disabled sister in the home but they don't care about how some people struggle with a fixed income I can't pay in the middle of the month I just want a good billing cycle so I can keep up most people don't pay and get shut off or how can they do that as cold as it's been we have not even had a spring yet I know... read more

BPU is a scam and does not work with its customers. Their customer service reps are very rude and cold hearted. They turned off my lights and I have 3 kids in the home and it is supposed to be under 30 degrees for the rest of the week so my family does not have any heat or hot water. I called and asked about the cold weather program and the rep stated they do not do cold weather plans. I really think they are taking advantage of the poor and if I could switch I would.
