Absolute garbage for a utility company. Prime example why these things shouldn't be privatized and should be owned by the public because there's no other option and no repercussions for their complete lack of service. It's impossible to get through to anyone to access simple information.
When power is out I understand because of storm. Ball park idea of fix would be helpful. Maybe I can protect myself a little bit. BPU stinks. I hate automated voice response. They tell me nothing.
After spending the night with my wife in the hospital, I came home to find the electricity shut off. I have some cash to put on the bill but can't even get in the building to talk to a real person. The phone system is a big joke and looks to be designed for you to arrive at exactly nowhere. My wife was busy almost dying for the last week so putting money on our account was not at the top of the list. Get it turned on now!
