The facility is disgusting there was a dead roach in the hallway for days at one point. If you make a decent living you will pay an arm and a leg to "get in shape" with the out dated broken equipment. The kankakee ymca is a joke. If you want quality go to riverside health and fitness.
Ive always loved the y....it was the only place i could go and take my children for fun. Now i take my grandkids. The atmosphere is not pretentious and everyone is treated like a star. I cant imagine NOT having a membership!
The daycare is the best. The ladies are so nice and work so well with my autistic son. I won't go anywhere else because of that. The free weight section could be a little bigger though
