The Kankakee YMCA is like a home away from home. Everyone is so friendly. The staff is helpful. I swim in a water aerobics class there, my husband loves the TRX and yoga classes and our youngest loves to hang out in the Kid's Zone. Affordable and family friendly!
The Kankakee YMCA has a great employee named Jesse. He was the person who was running the mighty mites soccer. He made all the 3-4 year old players day by giving them lots of attention. He made a great impact on many kids. He even had to help take over for an absent coach for half the practices and games. Great job
The Y is now my family, love the people, the training and the sream and sauna rooms. Don't know why I didn't join many years ago. The staff is the greatest, sound lije I love the Y, OOOOOOOOOOOHHH. YESSSSSSSS.....
We got a family membership last month and love this facility! The equipment is not outdated at all and the price for a family membership cannot be beat, especially for everything it has to offer. They even have wheelchair lifts for the stairs, lifts for the pools, and family changing rooms so my handicapped daughter can enjoy herself as well for a change!
