My 91 year old mom has lived in Kane Ross Township Community nursing home for one year now. She is mostly wheelchair bound. Her room is always clean; she always receives 3 meals per day and snacks; She's been taken to 3 pirates games and 2 restaurant outings in 1 year; there's plenty of activities daily; there's a library she utilizes; and the staff works hard taking good care of the patients. Want to add to this now that this place KILLED MY GRANDFATHER..that if you’re loved one is here you can guarantee they are not supervised or cared for correctly. My detailed review below is just one instance of many and the last instance took my paps life. I hope the nurse that left food for my pap to get is enjoying her thanksgiving with her loved ones while our family doesn’t have our rock cause she let my pap choke on food he was to be fed by a professional with. Would give 0 stars if was an option. Literally your loved ones DO NOT get any of the treatment, supervision, anything they “say” they do. PT doesn’t happen, awareness is NOT existent, urgency is NOT existent..literally press the call button to help my grandfather who won’t answer me and never gets like this takes 15 minutes for a nurse to come just for the little girl to say oh yeah I don’t know what I can do he’s a big guy (my paps 100 pounds) then a saying oh Israel is back from break in 15 minutes he can come then….and wa... read more
