My experience at KAMZ was wonderful. Everyone was so helpful. When I started having problems with my transmission, they took a look, topped it up and didn't charge me. When it turned out that I had other issues, I returned to have them replace a cover and gasket and they did a great job. The cost was just over $200. I don't know any cars that leave a repair shop for this little these days. Service like this is old school and it's rare these days.
Very professional, courteous service. Dropped in unannounced and was diagnosed and fixed in under 2hrs....truck hasn't shifted this good in years.
10/10 experience. I bought a second hand vehicle in the fall. I got it on the road in Jan 2025 and brought it into a mechanic who told me that my transmission was going. In a panic, I called Kelly at Kamz Tranmission. He gave me a fair quote and told me to bring it in ASAP and he would inspect my transmission before even deciding to fully replace the transmission. After careful research and excellent reviews regarding transmission issues I choose Kamz Transmission Ltd to help me with the infamous Chevy 8 speed "shudder" issues which GM tells all the customers is normal. Kelly the owner of this fine business recommended fluid, filter and additives replacement are the best remedy in the moment to at least fix or tone down the slipping of the TC.
