This clinic is wonderful. The staff are lovely and are so great with my kids. Dr Jon is very kind and explains the procedures he’s about to do so my daughter knows whats happening. My daughter’s tooth was bothering her and they got her in same day. They accommodated my other daughter by putting on a show for her and letting her pick out a prize. It’s the small things that count
Both of my kids have been going to Kamloops Paediatric Dentistry since they opened. They both have had some fillings and crowns done. We were very thoroughly explained our options as well as what the process looked like. Dr Campbell has always been great. I was concerned about having silver crowns on my kids and even though the white crowns cost more (I was originally wanting the white crowns) Dr Campbell advised to get the silver crowns as they are more durable with kids and would possibly prevent further treatment. Just to preface this, I did email the dentistry first. They never responded. I'm guessing because this is public they may respond. My granddaughter was referred to this dentist. She had ONE cavity/tooth that bothered her. The purpose of this appointment was to fix this one minor issue. Well the end result was a completely different outcome and a completely different mouth. I do not recommend this dentist, My children are now traumatized after he raised his voice and accused me of starting an argument when I just had questions around planning with all the extra work he claimed my son needed so I could understand it to plan for payments because they dont like to direct fund to First Nations Health Authority so you have to pay up front and apply to be reimbursed. Our 7 yr old son has major dental phobia and anxiety. When we needed him to have dental work done, our family dentist referred us to Dr. Campbell. The professionals at Kamloops Pediatric Dentistry were kind, patient and supportive of our son. They thoroughly explained to us the options we had for sedation work and encouraged us to make our own decisions based on our level of comfort.
