The hairdresser had an attitude and did not take feedback well. I noticed that my layers were uneven and did not like how the haircut turned out, and he blamed me for not showing a reference picture. Style aside, his skills were sloppy and couldn’t do a basic layered cut.

I wanted a layered cut that didn't make my hair look bushy. I asked for an overall lighter feel without making the ends too light since my hair is pretty dry. I also asked for the ends to be more like a V shape. Kyle did a great job while meeting all my requests kindly! He also fixed my awkard side hair situation. Would highly recommend especially because of its affordable price.

I’ve been going to Kami Salon since 2022 and always see Jeff — he’s great. Very friendly, attentive to my requests, and always delivers a clean, consistent cut. I live in the city but still make the trip to Evanston every time. The studio is clean, the vibe is relaxed, and the price is hard to beat. Highly recommend Jeff for men's cut!
